I should warn you that I write these newsboxes all at once, once a week. If something relevant comes up, I'll change them. But I like to get things out of the way, and so one way to do that is to do three things at once. That makes the newsboxes timely, but not up-to-the-minute. I'm not drawing these pages up-to-the-minute, though, so why write that way? That's my justification, at least.
Anyway, so I was thinking, what can I write about? I don't want to write about the page you're currently reading. That's lame. That takes you out of the story. It makes things far too meta. So what else can I write about? Well, what if I write about what I'm CURRENTLY working on? Give you a little insight into how far in advance I'm working, where things are going, the progress of future updates?
Yes, this is perfect, thinks I. And, since I'm writing three newsboxes at once, perhaps, I then think, I can write about how I was trying to figure out what to write about in one, and then I'll write what I actually was planning on writing in the next. Brilliant! I congratulate myself. So yes, I definitely will write about that. In the next newsbox, this Friday. |
